A single slab table is cut from one continuous board rather than narrow strips milled and glued back together. You read the full width of the tree in one surface, with grain and figure that no glued-up top can reproduce.
Both are available on every commission. A live edge preserves the natural outline of the tree for a more organic silhouette. Squared edges give the slab a clean, architectural line. The choice changes how formal the piece reads, and we guide it based on your room.
Commissions begin at $8,500, with final pricing determined by the slab — its species, length, width and figure — and the base design you choose.
Recent commissions include black walnut, claro walnut and monkeypod. The slab is selected with you, and we source specifically for what each commission calls for.

Yes. Natural voids and fissures are stabilized with black epoxy, and the top is finished in either a 2K polyurethane spray finish for maximum durability or a hand-rubbed oil finish that can be renewed over time.
Yes. Length, width and height are built to the dimensions of your room, limited only by the slabs on hand. Describe the room and the board will be found to fit it.
