Integrated power and data are available and specified for most boardroom commissions. Power outlets, USB and USB-C charging, and HDMI and data ports can be set into flush or pop-up modules in the top, with cabling routed out of sight and coordinated with your IT or AV team. Power and data are quoted by configuration.
A live edge conference table puts the full width of a tree at the head of the room. One slab, its natural edges kept and finished, running the length of the boardroom. Against an otherwise architectural space it is the one organic line in the room, and it is the reason people remember the table.
Black walnut, claro walnut, Oregon black walnut, monkeypod and blackened Bavarian oak all yield boards wide and long enough for a conference table. Each is selected for figure and shown to you before the first cut, with photographs and video for clients outside Chicago.
Natural voids and fissures are stabilized with epoxy, and the top is finished either in a 2K polyurethane spray for a hard, durable surface suited to daily office use, or a hand rubbed oil that can be renewed over time.
Allow roughly twenty-four inches per seat. A twelve-foot table seats ten to twelve, fourteen feet seats twelve to fourteen, and we build longer. The slab and the base are sized to the seating count and the room.

We collaborate with clients, designers, and architects, providing shop drawings and finish samples and coordinating on materials, engineering, delivery access and installation.
A conference table whose top is a single slab of wood with one or both natural edges of the tree left intact, rather than milled straight. You read the full width of the tree down the length of the boardroom table, an organic edge against an otherwise architectural room.

Commissions begin at $8,000, with final pricing determined by the slab, its species, length, width and figure, the base, and any integrated power and data. Every table is quoted around the specific board and your room.

The top and base travel separately, and our white glove delivery partners review the access path, assemble the table, and set it in place on site. We build and ship nationwide.
Every piece is built by Jerry Rodman, a furniture maker who has been in business for 11 years, and his team of four carpenters in our Chicago workshop. There is no production line and no outsourcing, and each table is made to be an heirloom.
